Quick Tip #4 Call-Send-Call Coach your hostess on this "tried and true" method of inviting guests to her party. Make initial contact with guests over the phone and in person, send reminders to all who said "yes" and "maybe" about attending and finally, make a reminder call 24 hours prior to the party. (This is the most important call of all and can be done by you or her). Don't forget to tell your hostess to over-invite!
